Aims
The overall aim of the Study and Work Group Descomponólog@s is to generate and integrate scientific knowledge on soil functioning, and to promote its discussion, dissemination and application towards more sustainable use.
Specific aims
- To create a multidisciplinary meeting space that fosters the exchange of knowledge about soils, their study from different disciplinary areas, in different types of ecosystems, and under different anthropogenic impacts or uses, both productive and non-productive.
- To encourage joint work, including outreach and scientific articles, educational tools, courses, and interdisciplinary research projects.
- To stimulate the participation of researchers at different career stages, especially students, offering a space for scientific discussion and collaborative learning.
- To strengthen links with members of different chairs and research groups, as well as with stakeholders such as technicians, farmers, organisations (CREA, INTA), NGOs and companies.
